When Life Comes....

I actually saw this in my good friend's faceboook. I think he wrote this for his girlfriend or something but I really felt that this note was really awesome! I actually wanted to share it here but I never really had much chance to do so with my time getting screwed up recently.

Two best friends sat on top of a hill.

It was time to say goodbye.

They swore they’d be best friends forever. Nothing more, nothing less.

They wrote their promises on separate papers and swore they would read each others on one of their wedding day.

The girl wrote:

I can’t promise that I won’t fall in love with you because i did.

I can’t promise that we’d only be best friends because i want us to be more.

I can’t promise I’ll walk down the aisle with someone else because i want to be your bride…

The guy wrote:

I promise i won’t fall in love with you

10 years later and it was the girl’s wedding day. The car just arrived at the church. Everyone was waiting for her to come out but she was reading a certain letter. She sighed and cried softly.

She walked down the aisle and arrived at the altar. She linked her hand with her groom and cried softly. She was getting married to the man of her dreams. Her best friend.

“Are you ok?” The groom asked.

“I just read your promise letter.” The girl said.

“You like it?” He asked softly.

“I love it!” The girl smiled.

TRUTH: Right at the bottom of the boy’s letter was a small message.

“These are the promises i know I’ll break. I love you.”

I really think that this post is really cute and nice! Because I would love to have my best friend be my best partner because I think that would be the best relationship ever! But I realized people are often scared of ruining the friendship that they share but honestly, if you ask me, I'd say that's the dumbest thing one could actually do! 

 

Regardless whatever people say, for me the best relationship is the 1 that you share with your bestie! Everytime I love someone, I take them as my bestfriend 1st! That's how I prefer it and if things doesn't work out, then I can still keep them because FRIENDSHIP is a bond that doesn't relate to romance! If a person is matured enough to understand this, they would not need to worry about ruining the friendship at all! 

Just my opinion. =)

Day 07 - Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.

Hey guys, back to the 30 days challenge once more while I finish the part 2 of the story. Today's topic for day 07 is about my zodiac and if it fits my personality. Probably most people would have already know that I am an Aquarius since my birthday falls on February 14.

 

First of all, I shall start of with the traits of Aquarius.

An Aquarius man is a tough nut to crack. You need to have a lot of patience to understand and get along with him. Knowing him as much as possible, is the best way to befriend him. As mentioned earlier, Aquarians like freedom and space and expect independent partners, who don't cling along. Once they get a sense of 'unattached comfort' from their friends and colleagues, men open up a lot and can be really nice people to get along with. It is important not to take their criticism seriously or personally. It's a common personality trait of Aquarian men and never suggestive of their lack of love or passion towards others. They like social interactions, public exposure and are seriously unconventional but true lovers. These eccentric individuals are an interesting lot, to say the least.

Well I don't really know if these traits are true in my case though. As I love to have someone clingy and I love intimacy! I am not much of a mad Horoscope freak, I often wondered how sometimes these little traits are actually so accurate about certain people. However, I would say I am not much of a Pure Aquarius though. 

Wondering why I would say that? Simple, my traits are of mixed. My traits are actually mixed to the extend that I sometimes feel like I was born around the year that I can cover all the Zodiac traits by myself. And I think I got split personalities though not knowing how many of "me" that I know off! LOL

This sign has a confident, rational, masculine, optimistic and a sensitive attitude towards life. An Aquarius personality can be the strongest or the weakest of hearts and they have the power to reach the zenith of their professional careers. People born when the Sun is said to enter the Aquarius sign, have a very pragmatic view of life. You will notice that on appreciation and support, Aquarians show great strength and worthiness; and when taken for granted or neglected, they get demoralized pretty easily. They are frank, practical, philosophical and very particular about their beliefs and ideologies. 

I think this part is so freaking me!! 1 thing in life that never phails to upset me is being taken for granted and being neglected. It's like phobia for me. Though I never phail to have people who do these to me in my life, I think somehow I can be kinda hypocrite. I know everyone of us have a certain parts of us that we are hypocrites, can't run away from that fact at least. Being hypocrite is not good and I think I learned that the hard way recently. 

Only I know what I felt and how it felt. However, there would be a post soon about something that a lot of people probably have been waiting to know about me. I still owe the 2nd part of the story I wrote and it's just 7th day out of 30 days!! With my work's weird shift schedules, this is going to take me real long to write everything!! But I will try my bestest!!

Cursed or is it just meant to be?

Disclaimer : Every characters, places and everything is just plainly made up for this story. It is just a story that I worked up for some time. Hoping to get some feedbacks from all you guys!

Jay was in ecstatic mood that day. It was his first day of work and he was excited. Not long after, it was lunch time so he rushed off to the canteen with his new met friends/colleagues lining up to pay when his eyes caught a rare sight of attraction.

1 look and he felt the blood rush to his head, heavy and fast heart beats, goosebumps, and sudden heat. He wanted to turn away before he gets a slap but the weirdest thing happened.

"Hey there, u must be new here. Am Beth!"

"*Stuttering* H-hey, Jay here. Nice to meet you!"

Being just out of relationship, Jay was in a fragile state hence he tried his level best to keep his cool. His past relationship which lasted just over 3 years, was still fresh in his memories and ever since he never felt this kind of strong attraction before.

Seeing Jay talking to this hot chick, all his friends started to tease him. Hearing it, his heart started to race faster and he could feel his face getting hotter and hotter.

"OMG! Don't tell me you are blushing dude!" said 1 of his friend. Jay of course never told them about his past and judging from his never depleting hyper-ness and smile on his face, everyone thought that he was actually a player!

Jay on the other hand was actually trying his level best to contain his feelings. So the rest of the day just went away with Jay dying to see his new found angel again. Luck wasn't on his side at least that day so he just left it to pass.

So day after day he was trying to look for the same eyes that caught him but never managed to get any luck till the 4th day when he saw her again! She was with her friends lining up to pay laughing happily. That made his day as that was what he longing for! Just to see her! Trying not to look too obvious, he always tried to just steal a peak and keeping his mouth busy at the same time with his friends.

This continued on for awhile until 1 day he bumped into her alone. Somehow working up his courage, he stops her.

"Hey, which department are you in? How was your day so far?"
"Not bad, am for sales team Jay. Day is boring with never ending training." said Beth with a smile.

Jay suddenly realized what a fool he was as he actually thought that she was his senior! Now that he knew she was actually part of the sales team, he knew he had to do something so that he could have some reason to see her again.

With a very obvious hesitant tone, "Hey mind if I have your number? Since after this we might not see each other, at least we could keep in touch...." Feeling his whole body shaky, and blood starting to rush through the veins, he waited for the "NO" word.

"Sure! Why don't you take mind and I will text you." said Beth. Seeing both exchanging numbers, all of Jay's friends were very jealous of him. They started to tease him even more and that's when his phone went off! Everyone jumped to see the text and started off with a small celebration to see the text from Beth.

That night they text each other and Jay could not hide his joy as he was having trouble sleeping and all. He had no idea that it would only last for day.

The next day, Jay starting his test calls as he was a call center agent, was sitting in his table went he received a text from Beth saying she saw him. So being excited and witty, he replied daring Beth to come over and say Hi to him. Little he thought that she would actually turn up at his table with the rest of his team looking at him!

That was the cue, he thought but as the day went by he realized Beth sounded a little distressed. Worried, he wanted to know what was the reason just to find out that Beth was actually is leaving to Melbourne the next day as that's where she was placed.

A text came in asking him what took him so long to get Beth's number. That was a slap to his conscious and that was not the end of it. He felt he had already wasted precious time which he could have actually used to create good memories.

Then he finds out that Beth was actually married with a daughter of 2 years and half! That broke his heart but he decided to just let everything go by the flow itself so he kept it within himself. He was dying to have some time with Beth. He ended his shift 5 hours earlier but decided to wait till Beth's done with hers.

It was almost 8pm and they met. He could feel the strong hunch that Beth had fallen for him, but the fact that she was married and all scared him. After having a short conversation, they parted ways with Jay in a very confused state.

That night, Beth called Jay.

"Hey, now that you know tomorrow I am leaving, would you come visit me if I asked you to?"

Jay was waiting for that but he was torn apart with mixed feelings. He wanted so badly to be with Beth but she was someone else's. Yet still thinking that he ain't gonna throw his chance away, he makes a desperate trip to visit Beth.

Seeing her without make up for the 1st time made things harder for Jay. He felt he has met his match finally but should he be doing what he is doing? That was his thought. He wants but he can't. So trying not to waste much time, he decided to take her out instead. So..................

That would be it for now. I believe this is quite long enough that I decided to make it to part posts. =)

And really sorry if I had cut short you guys of excitement guys. Don't worry the best part of the story is yet to come! Trust me!

Never Let Me Go

The other day I was kinda feeling to watch a movie but since there wasn't any new movie in the cinema yet, I decided to go dig up those DVDs that me and friend bought but haven't watch yet. I came across this movie Never Let Me Go. At first I thought it was some kinda sad love story or so on but had the urge to watch it as it had Keira Knightly!

 

She is so pretty and talented. Love to watch her take any roles as she could actually fall into the character perfectly! Anyways, coming back to the movie, below is the posters. 

 

These are 2 favorite posters from what I found. Anyways this movie was 1 movie that really touched me deeply. It talked about kids (not knowing how they ended up there) who grew up together in a boarding school but never know what is going out in the real world. 

As usual, below is the plot of the movie,

PLOT

The film begins with onscreen captions explaining that a medical breakthrough in 1952 has permitted the human lifespan to be extended beyond 100 years. Subsequently, the film is narrated by 28-year-old Kathy H. as she reminisces about her childhood at Hailsham, as well as her adult life after leaving the school.

The first section of the film depicts the young Kathy in 1978 onwards, along with her friends Tommy and Ruth, spending their childhood at Hailsham, a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. Gradually, it is revealed that the children are imprisoned on the school grounds. At one point, one of the teachers quietly informs the pupils of their fate: they are destined to provide donor organs for transplants, and will die before they can fulfill their potential. The following day this teacher is "no longer working at Hailsham". It is not revealed whether she was fired or if something more sinister happened to her. As time continues to elapse, Tommy is emotionally fragile, and Kathy falls in love with him, but Ruth and Tommy begin a relationship. They stay together throughout the rest of their time at Hailsham.

In the second section of the film, the three friends, now teenagers, are rehoused in cottages on a rural farm. They are permitted to leave the grounds if they wish, but are resigned to their eventual fate, apparently seeing it as inevitable. At the farm, they meet former pupils of similar schools to theirs. It is revealed that Kathy and the others are all clones, and are fascinated by the idea of finding the original people that they were "modelled on". From the others at the cottages, Kathy and her friends hear rumours of the possibility of "deferral" - a temporary reprieve from organ donation for clones who are in love and can prove it. Tommy becomes convinced that The Gallery at Hailsham, where the children's art and poetry was kept, was intended to look into their souls. He believes that artwork sent to The Gallery will verify true love. The relationship between Tommy and Ruth becomes sexual, and jealousy causes Kathy and Ruth to break their friendship. The lonely Kathy applies to become a "carer" - a clone who is given a temporary reprieve from donation as a reward for supporting and comforting donors as they are made to give up their organs. She has become a carer by the time she hears that Tommy and Ruth have split up.

In the third and final section of the film, Kathy is working as a carer 10 years later. She has watched many clones gradually die as their organs are donated; their deaths are referred to as "completion". Kathy hasn't seen Ruth or Tommy since the Cottages, but just happens to find Ruth, who is frail after two donations, while working as a carer. They find Tommy, who is also weakened by his donations, and drive to the sea. There, Ruth admits that she did not love Tommy, and only seduced him because she was afraid to be alone. She is consumed with guilt, and has been searching for a way to help Tommy and Kathy. She believes that the rumours of "deferral" for couples are true, and has found the address of the gallery owner, Madame from Hailsham, whom she thinks may grant couples in love deferrals. Ruth dies on the operating table shortly afterward. Tommy explains to Kathy that he has been creating art in the hope that it will aid deferral. He and Kathy drive to visit Madame, who, it transpires, lives with the headmistress of Hailsham. The two teachers tell them that there is no such thing as deferral, and that Tommy's artworks will not help him. They also explain that the purpose of The Gallery was to see if clones have souls, and to challenge the ethics of the creation of donors; Hailsham was the last place to consider the ethical implications of the donor scheme. As they take in the news on their return journey, Tommy breaks down in an explosion of rage and frustration as Kathy resignedly accepts her fate.

The film ends with Tommy dying on the operating table, and Kathy left alone, knowing that her donations will begin in one month. Contemplating the ruins of her childhood, she asks in voice-over whether her fate is really any different from the people who will receive her organs: after all, "we all complete".

After watching the movie, I felt touched and really depressed. Could you imagine your life being that way? I really can't. All your life you are made to live for the sake of donating your organs to others not knowing who you are and where you come from. Practically nothing to life for other than donating you organs. 

The soundtracks were great as well. I heard the music and I felt the calm soothing yet the sorrow feel all in it. I really don't know how to put it but I would seriously suggest you guys to listen to it! 

Hope you guys like it. If you haven't watch this movie yet, go now to the nearest DVD shop and get it. I am sure you would see life differently after that. Atleast I do.

Source Code Reviewed!

Actually was trying to get a chance to watch this movie for some time but we hit a few snags hence we missed our chances till 1 day we finally made it! It was more like an unplanned visit to the cinema actually. So anyways, coming back to the movie, this time around am not really gonna talk about the plot but more to what I felt about the movie itself.

I seriously don't know who started the trend of movies which plays around with your mind. I remember Inception was a hot topic as it was something relating to mind games as well but this movie just flew into 1 of my favorite movies list too.

 

Though the start of the movie till I think almost half it was totally confusing and boring for my liking. Probably I didn't really understand the movie at all. I was really shocked with the appearance of Russell Peters in the movie! Man he was FAT! LMFAO!

 

Coming back to the main story, *clears throat* it seemed to get more and more interesting as the train ride was actually starting to flow with more and more intense as the time was passing. I honestly didn't know what to expect at all and from being dead tired, sleepy and all I became super awake! I was really excited to see what was going to happen!

The part where I felt the touch was when the main character finds out that he was dead. I often have wondered what would an afterlife would be though many have actually said it's not worth it to think about it and live life as it is. After this movie, I think I kinda felt the thought that probably I might be used as something like in this movie. Can't even think about it!

Human's mind is a terrible thing isn't it? It makes think all kinda things when they don't even exist! Overall, this movie was ok though loved the storyline. A little bit more effort and budget into the movie settings, it could have been even better. Think you got other thoughts about this movie? Do share it by commenting please.... =)

Day 06 - Write 30 interesting facts about yourself.

When I realized that this was the title I was suppose to write about, I couldn't stop wanting to smack my head. I need 30 interesting facts about me! Though am not very good at explaining things, here goes nothing!

1. I am a music lover! *lalalalala...~*
2. Am a sports freak! I play most types of sports.
3. Can say am a coffee, tea, coke addict too.
4. I can be considered an active person as I tend to get bored very fast when I ain't doing much.
5. I have a very short fuse though recently it has got a lil tiny bit extended.
6. Was a dancer, is a dancer and would always be a dancer!
7. I love being with groups! And what I meant groups aren't zombies.
8. Phobia of being alone. Doing anything alone scares me very much though I never show it.
9. I realistic yet at times very dreamy personality. I love to dream but they are often realistic though never gotten any support.
10. I think I've got a very low self-esteem compared to what I actually portray.
11. It's really hard for me to start liking someone but once liked then it's hard for me to forget.
12. I am a person of emotions.
13. I keep things to myself most the time. I often tell people very very little compared to what I normally do.
14. Love singing to the max though I can't really sing.
15. I am tone deaf! Been like that ever since I knew music.
16. Due to being tone deaf, I can't play music instruments much cz very easy to get mixed up with things!

There u go guys. Am really sorry but I am working on my describing skills and explaining about myself skills too! I did realize that my post about breast and Rio movie review as being the most viewed posts. However, I hope with this post I might have been able to give my readers, you all a slight idea about me.

I don't expect anyone to understand me cause I myself can't fully understand myself but I would really love it if you can still be nice to me too! Next up is 2 movie reviews, 1 short "Love" story, and then we would be back to the 30 days challenge with post Day 07 - Your zodiac sign and if you think it fits your personality.
