Te Vi Venir

I don't really know if I had ever mentioned here my love towards Spanish language ever in this blog. I have been digging and pouring myself with Spanish songs from only a couple of singers and recently thanks to 8tracks which was initially introduced to me by a very good friend of mine, Sanza.

Through there I found a few Latino singers + songs and trust me they have just found their ways to speak my mind and emotions albeit in Spanish. Without dragging this longer, I have a song to share here. It speaks of how someone recently came along into my life.

Even If It's Not Necessary

I admit defeat that I can't hide my feelings much recently of how things are turning out. Probably it's not what I ever wanted, I don't know but most importantly I am feeling as if the walls are closing in on me. Yes I missed you! I've missed blogging and hell yea I letting myself out but what am I to do? I've landed a journalist job in Malaysia's Top News Agency Bernama and that practically have drained most of my time and basically writing news and honestly it kinda got to me alittle.

What are words~

I think most of the people would already know when you saw the title of what this post all means. Yes Chris Mendoza took me away with this song. Before I say more about the song, I shall share a little story about this wonderful song 1st.



At the heart of "What Are Words" are lyrics inspired by things Chris Medina said and did during the audition and Hollywood week portions of the show. When Chris Medina sings "what kind of guy would I be/if I was to leave when you need me most," that lyric came straight from his own mouth when describing his dedication to helping his fiance Juliana overcome the injuries sustained in her car accident.

The story of this song as touching as the lyrics itself, proves that pure LOVE still exist! I won't hide how much this song touched my soul. It's just wonderfully beautiful. What more can one do to express the love they have for that 1 person? Well this song was written inspired by his fiancee's story, he recorded it few days after his elimination from American Idol 10.

I'm not much of rocker though I won't deny that I do love rock music. Music has always played a major role in my life.

Anyways, coming back to the topic, I've heard this song quite some time back if not wrong somewhere around last year. I love the lyrics, the way everything goes with the song. 30 Seconds to Mars have been kind of 1 of my favorite band but I only viewed this MV just few days ago. Actually am not much of a Youtube fan but if I need something or heard something, that's when I look up things I like or want. Of course don't forget my amnesia, hence this explains why am blogging about this song after so long!

I can't really comprehend what exactly that I love so much about this song but I love it! Don't you agree with me? Of course don't get me wrong, am not saying you must like it though. =P

Howie Day - Collide

The other day while I was rushing for a job interview, So You Think You Can Dance Season 7 was going on. And just as I was about to switch it off, I saw the most inspiring, and touching performance by Lauren and Kent. I know both the song and that performance is not a new thing but yet still I was certainly left feeling bad for not knowing it till recently!

Well I did my research about this song and the singer. Below are his details:
"Collide" is the second single from singer/songwriter Howie Day's second full-length album, Stop All the World Now, released in July 2004. The song, written by Howie Day and Kevin Griffin, follows in the vein of works from other pop balladeers like Dave Matthews, John Mayer and Duncan Sheik. The London Session Orchestra provided backing instrumentation on the initial album version of the song.

"Collide" has since been used in promotion of various television series, including What About Brian, Friday Night Lights and General Hospital, as well as the 2005 film adaptation of Pride & Prejudice and the 2005 film The Perfect Man. This song has also been featured during episodes of Ghost Whisperer, Scrubs, ER, Bones, Third Watch, Cold Case, One Tree Hill, Smallville, Lost, Grey's Anatomy, Summerland and Joan of Arcadia. On General Hospital this was the song to which popular pairing Patrick and Robin, known as "Scrubs", first made on Memorial Day in 2006. This song was on Season 7 of So You Think You Can Dance featuring Kent Boyd and Lauren Froderman.

There is the dance video, one look and I am pretty sure you'd be practically attracted to the video. Travis did a tremendous job in the choreo of this song and both the dancers are the best choice for it!

My gf went back home today after staying together for almost 15 days plus plus. Though it seemed as if I was getting used to the feeling of her going back already, it still seemed weird.

And worst still, I was sitting at Silva near ma house and eating when this girl walks up and sits infront of me her back facing to me. I stone-ned awhile as she looked exact same size as my baby and not only that piercing same place and same style!!

Though I knew it wasn't her as this girl took out her dunhill and started puffing and also she didn't have the "aura" of coz! The when she turned around she looked damn freaking similar to my gf and made me miss her......
